Amruta Paranjape is a pre-eminent Kathak dancer and choreographer based in Pune, India. Fueled by her insatiable thirst for exploring the world of art and supported by her monumental training in the field, she is recognized for her electrifying performances and ingenious creations. Her clarity of movements embellished with an ever-flowing grace and profundity of ‘bhaav’, turns out to be an ethereal experience for the audiences. Owing to her venturous nature, she walks the less ventured paths to present the unexplored subjects in her choreographies. An accomplished dancer and choreographer, Amruta has taken extensive Kathak training from Guru Shambhavi Dandekar ji and Laya-Taal training from Taalyogi Pandit Suresh Talwalkar ji. Having spent many years in close proximity to such scholarly personalities, Amruta has embarked on a journey to explore the extent of Kathak while keeping her feet firmly entrenched into her roots.
